Target trip 8/9

This trip was a little disappointing and a little rewarding. The store was out of the Scotch tape I need that will be $.17 a roll and out of the free Post-it Notes. Bummer. But the LA Looks gel that I thought would be $1.92 was actually $1.45!! With my $1/1 coupon, I scored it for just $.45 a bottle. And 4 of the bottles were 50% more free!

All of the Danimals yogurts were on sales for 3/$5 or $1.67 each. I had $1/1 coupons for each one so I got 6 for $.67 each!

Three more J&J first aid kits for free using the $3/3 coupon. They were only $.97 each and this is the first time the coupon didn't adjust down. It took the full $3 off so I made $.09.

The coupon for my bananas on the other hand..... It was an IP SQ for $1 off produce. Bananas were $1.17, but the coupon scanned at only $.49 off. I was paying attention and the cashier was kind enough to correct it without hassle. I emailed Target tonight about my difficulties lately, explaining in detail what happened tonight with my bananas. I'll be sure to blog about it if/when I get a response.

Pedialax gummies were $7.99 with a $1/1 IP.

Roseart color pencils $.75
Roseart crayons $.20 - free wyb (when you buy) color pencils
Roseart markers $.89

Similac formula $5.49 each and I got two $5 checks in the mail today, so I paid $.98 for both.

Smart Rinse $3.99 with $.75/1 SQ and $1/1 MQ made it $2.24.

Pacifier clips $4.99 - because I'm embracing the fact that I have my first "binky baby" and I'm tired of her dropping the dumb thing on the floor.

I also got 2 gallons of milk for $3.09 each that aren't pictured.

Total spent was $30.99 and total saved was $25.02, plus the $10 checks for the formula, so really $35.02. Not bad, but not the best. I did have a few things that were necessity items and I didn't have coupons for. So all in all, I was pleased.

I'm going to try and hit another Target store tomorrow to get more gel, tape and Post-it notes.

  1. We love our pacifier clips... especially after Liberty learning to crawl and living in a house with a dog and a cat for 2 months...

    Very cool deals!

  2. I couldn't find the first aid kits at CVS, I looked and looked and never found them :( not even an empty spot where they might be.
