Feed the Bay 2010

Feed the Bay is a coordinated event to collect food and other items for local food banks. There are thousands of needy people in the Tampa Bay area and the food banks need our help.

On Sunday, October 24th, participating churches will hand out Feed the Bay grocery lists and encourage members to visit one of the Publix or Sweetbay stores. These stores will be stocked with plenty of the items listed.

Outside the stores, there will be trucks ready to collect the items purchased. You can find a list of participating stores here.

We can do our part by collecting these items now. This is a great opportunity to use our coupons to help others! The goal for this year is to raise 200,000 pounds of food.
